Chefs

Chef Eric Cherdak is a Los Angeles-based chef whose cooking is shaped by fine dining training, a love of hospitality, and a deep connection to food, family, and culture. Born into a Soviet immigrant family, Eric was introduced to the kitchen early and has built his style around creating memorable experiences through both his menus and the service that surrounds them. He has described his approach as rooted in locally sourced ingredients, strong technique, and elevating each ingredient to its highest potential, and has said he was fortunate to study Italian cooking under Massimo Bottura in Modena. More recently, Eric was identified in Los Angeles Magazine as executive chef of Valley Village restaurant Bottega Taboo, further reflecting his growing presence in LA’s culinary scene.
