Hijo De Su Madre is not your average taco truck. It is a mother and son business that serves plant-based food with an attitude on sugar cane plates with compostable utensils. It puts a twist on tempura, serving beer batter avocado with a refreshing slaw and a spicy chipotle cream, and substitutes pulled pork in traditional Yucatecan recipes with the meaty texture of Jackfruit. They mix sweet and spicy flavors into a brilliant concoction that will explode your mind. Being that the literal translation of "hijo de su madre" means "son of a mother," they use recipes that were passed down from generation and slightly modified to be vegan bringing you the taste of mom's home cooking.
